At J. EGGERS & ASSOCIATES we specialize in what's called a "Stock Loan" or "Securities Based Loan." This type of loan can be used for just about anything - Commercial, Residential and even as a Yacht Financing Option.We offer this loan on a nationwide scale. There are no strings on the money you can use it for anything. People use the proceeds for business and personal use.
A "Stock Loan" allows someone to get money at incredible low rates with no verification of income, credit, etc. All you need is a substantial amount of assets in stocks, bonds or treasuries. Unlike a margin loan, the loan cannot be called if the stocks go down in value. It is a safe way of tapping the asset for short term needs while protecting the asset for long term gains, retirement, etc. When you pay the loan off, the lien is released!
The rates and terms will depend on the strength of the asset, so Treasury Bonds will get a better deal than Stocks and Blue Chip Stocks will get a better deal than some other stocks. Rates will generally be between 2.5% and 4.5% or so – interest only for 2-10 years. That is some of the cheapest money available!
Our minimum loan amount is $100,000 and we are seeing closings times between 7 - 10 days. We have also seen the banks loan as much as 80% - 85% of the portfolio value. We feel that this is truely one of the best loan products on the market today!!!

Stock Loans... A Non-Purpose Type Of Loan
Some Purposes For Our Stock Loans!!!
Although Securities-Based Lending is a "Non-Purpose" type of loan program... we usually do hear about the purpose or reason for the funding request. Here are some recent examples of how our "Stock Loans" were utilized to solve a need for financing and some funding scenarios that we have been presented to us.
Commercial loan came due and the current mortgage holder (the bank) would not renew loan. As most commercial loans are on a 3-5 year "call" quite a few of them are coming up for renewal and business owners are finding that banks are not renewing the loans and this type of funding is very difficult to obtain now.
Refinance an existing home loan. With values declining and credit tightening our program offers a viable solution and at a lower interest rate and cost then current mortgage financing.
Yacht Purchase. Client buys a 1.2M dollar yacht and finances $960,000. We got him a "Stock Loan" at 2.5% interest only compared to a 6.5% traditional boat loan. A substantial savings in the way of monthly payments... $1,999 / month vs. $7,160 / month and our SL is Non-Recourse.
Buying a foreclosed property from a bank – needed to close quickly.
Refinancing of a commercial loan. Pulled cash out to expand their business.
New home construction went over budget. Bank would not increase the loan amount. We were able to provide the funds to complete the home as desired.
